Civil Service Commission (CSC) Chairperson Karlo Nograles addressed the 1.9 million civil servants in various agencies nationwide as the country celebrates the 126th anniversary of Philippine Independence Day.

“This year’s theme, Kalayaan, Kinabukasan, Kasaysayan, underscores the importance of independence in the achievement of the country’s collective aspiration for the future contained in the Philippine Development Plan—to enjoy a strongly-rooted, comfortable, and secure life,” added Chairperson Nograles in his message.

The Civil Service Commission (CSC) has announced the list of top scorers in the Career Service Examination - Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT), both Professional and Subprofessional levels, held on 3 March 2024.

"Congratulations once again to all who passed, and a special commendation to the top performers. Your hard work has paid off, bringing you one step closer to joining the ranks of our 1.9 million dedicated civil servants nationwide,” CSC Chairperson Karlo Nograles told the successful examinees.

The Civil Service Commission (CSC) is set to administer the Fire Officer Examination (FOE) and Penology Officer Examination (POE) to a total of 53,393 examinees on 2 June 2024.

“Everything is set for the FOE and POE examinations, which will be conducted across 16 regions nationwide. The CSC anticipates the cooperation of all examinees to ensure the successful administration of the exams,” said CSC Chairperson Karlo Nograles.

Chairperson Nograles reminded examinees of the FOE to check Examination Advisory No. 7, s. 2024, and POE takers to check Examination Advisory No. 8, s. 2024 to familiarize themselves with the school assignments and important reminders in taking the exam.

The Civil Service Commission (CSC) will hold this year’s Leaders & Human Resource Symposium (LHRS) on 24-25 September 2024, both virtually and onsite in Pasay City.

The CSC invites leaders and human resource (HR) practitioners from across the country to participate in this event.

"We invite everyone to be part of this year's hybrid HR convention. This is a great opportunity to connect with industry leaders, share insights, and gain valuable knowledge," said CSC Chairperson Karlo Nograles.

The Civil Service Commission (CSC) has issued the list of testing centers and important reminders for about 6,400 examinees of the Basic Competency on Local Treasury Examination (BCLTE) on 2 June 2024.

CSC Chairperson Karlo Nograles advised BCLTE takers to carefully read the Examination Advisory No. 9, s. 2024, which is accessible via the CSC website.

“As part of the exam preparations, please make sure to check the Online Notice of School Assignment (ONSA) to know your designated testing site. The CSC wishes you all the best as you take this crucial step to becoming members of the civil service as Local Treasurer and Assistant Local Treasurer,” said Chairperson Nograles.
