The 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women (VAW) from 25 November to 12 December is an annual observance meant to raise awareness and ignite action for protecting the human rights of women and girls against all forms of gender-based violence.

The Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) has set a new campaign theme, UNiTEd for a VAW-free Philippines. This theme aims to highlight the powerful impact of combining individual efforts towards a collaborative and united thrust towards a VAW-free Philippines. It is aligned with United Nations' global campaign, UNiTE by 2030 to End Violence against Women campaign (UNiTE), which is a multi-year effort aimed at preventing and eliminating violence against women and girls (VAWG) worldwide. It “calls on governments, civil society, women’s organizations, young people, the private sector, the media, and the entire UN system to join forces in addressing the global pandemic of violence against women and girls.”
