The Civil Service Commission Regional Office I conducted the Computerized Examination (COMEX) on November 24, 2022 at the CSC RO1 Building, City of San Fernando, La Union. This is the first computerized exam since its launching in 2017 due to some technical issues and the construction of the new CSC RO1 building. A total of 17 examinees from various agencies in the region took the exam.  

The CSC - COMEX is a joint project between the Department of Science and Technology - Advanced Science and Technology Institute (DOST – ASTI) and the Civil Service Commission (CSC). The exam software unifies all existing standalone examination processes into a single examination system relative to acceptance of applications, conduct of examination, scoring, and generation of reports. This system is implemented throughout all CSC regional offices to accommodate more applicants via computerized mode of testing.
