Civil Service Commission Regional Office No. II (CSC RO II) organized the 3-day Government Job Fair in Region II as part of its celebration of the 124th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary. The event was conducted from 3 to 5 September 2024 at SM City, Bagay Road, Tuguegarao City.

For this year, fourteen (14) government agencies participated in the onsite event namely, Cagayan Valley Medical Center, Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Region 02, Department of the Interior and Local Government Region II, National Economic and Development Authority Region 02, Region II Trauma and Medical Center, Department of Public Works and Highways Region 02, Department of Education SDO Cagayan, Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office 02, Department of Agriculture Regional Field Office II, Bureau of Fire Protection Region 02, Department of Education SDO Tuguegarao City,  Southern Isabela Medical Center, Local Government Unit of Kasibu, Nueva Vizcaya, and CSC RO II. Representatives from the Department of Labor and Employment Region 02 were also present to provide assistance to both applicants and recruiters, contributing to the smooth conduct of the activity.

One hundred eighty (180) vacant positions from these 14 government agencies were published to which a total of 267 job seekers submitted their application requirements during the 3-day fair.

CSC RO II, led by Atty. Marites P. Lappay, conducted the event to provide avenue for dedicated individuals who aspire to work in the government sector to explore career options within the civil service and engage directly with representatives from various hiring government agencies. At the same time, government employers can continue to attract passionate talents who are committed to make positive impacts in communities and uphold the values of good and sustainable governance. #
