The Civil Service Commission conducted a one (1) day bloodletting activity on Thursday, 12 September 2024, as part of the โ€œLinggo ng Malasakit sa Kapwaโ€ in celebration of the 124th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary held at the activity area of Robinsonโ€™s Place, Tuguegarao City. A total of 226 individuals both from the public and private sector responded to the call with 162 successful donors.
 
With the theme โ€œ๐——๐˜‚๐—ด๐˜๐—ผ๐—ป๐—ด ๐—•๐˜‚๐—ต๐—ฎ๐˜†, ๐—›๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฑ๐—ผ๐—ด ๐—ป๐—ด ๐—Ÿ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด๐—ธ๐—ผ๐—ฑ ๐—•๐—ฎ๐˜†๐—ฎ๐—ปโ€, the bloodletting activity was conducted in partnership with the Cagayan Valley Medical Center (CVMC), Cagayan Valley Regional Blood Center (CVRBC) and St. Paul University Philippines.
 
Government employees who participated in the activity are deemed on official business, while successful donors are entitled to one (1) day compensatory time-off pursuant to CSC Resolution No. 2400504 s. 2024.
 
Simultaneously, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) conducted pre-processing of passport to 192 government employees as part of their activity for the 124th PCSA. In support of the activity, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) eagerly joined the DFA today to ensure that requirements in the pre-processing of passports are met.
 
All government employees who were able to submit their passport requirements were given exclusive slots for passport application at the DFA Regional Office on September 21 and 25, 2024 respectively.
