Fifty-seven thousand six hundred eighty-three, or 17.20 percent, out of 335, 385 examinees passed the Career Service Examination, Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) for Professional and Sub-Professional levels held nationwide on 03 March 2024, the Civil Service Commission (CSC) recently reported.
Viron Gil A. Estrada from the National Capital Region (NCR), with a rating of 97.30, bested 297,952 examinees of the Professional level, while Mia Kimberly F. Noche hailing from Southern Tagalog, with a 97.24 rating, topped the Sub-Professional test with 37,433 examinees.

The Civil Service Commission Regional Office VI conducted the Fire Officer Exam (FOE), Penology Officer Exam (POE) and Basic Competency for Local Treasury Exam (BCLTE) to 2,372 examinees on June 2, 2024.
Out of the 2,699 individuals who registered for the exams, 87.88% took the exams comprising 1,552 examinees for the FOE, 572 examinees for the POE, and 248 examinees for the BCLTE.

Acosta, conferred the Presidential Lingkod Bayan Award to Prof. Julie Ann A. Salido of Aklan State University and the S-PaSS Core Team composed of Dir. Rowen R. Gelonga, Mr. Ryan Vilmor J. Dumpit and Mr. Garry T. Balinon of the Department of Science and Technology Region VI; the Dangal ng Bayan Award to Mr. Fritz J. Juele of the Department of Education Schools Division of Roxas City; the CSC Pagasa Award to Mr. Relvin B. Paragua of the Department of Agriculture Western Visayas.
