A total of 47,449 examinees passed the Career Service Examination - Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) held nationwide on 11 August 2024.
The Civil Service Commission (CSC) reported that 42,812 examinees, constituting 14.43 percent of the 296,758 total candidates, have passed the CSE Professional Level. For the CSE Subprofessional Level, 4,637 individuals or 14.18 percent of the 32,707 examinees achieved a passing rate.
Based on the results per region, National Capital Region achieved the highest passing rate of 18.96 percent, with 8,242 successful examinees out of 43,478 individuals who took the exam. Region III placed second while Region IV ranked third, with 18.73 percent and 17.56 percent passing rates, respectively. This translates to 4,153 passers out of 22,178 takes for Region III and 6,846 out of 38,978 examinees for Region IV.
The CSC also announced that the List of Passers is available via the Examination Results widget found on the left side of the CSC website or via the CSC Examination Portal.

The Civil Service Commission (CSC) launched its new microlearning courses on the CSC Learning Management System (LMS) during the 2024 Leaders & HR Symposium (LHRS), held on 24-25 September at the Philippine International Convention Center and online.
CSC Chairperson Karlo Nograles, along with Commissioners Aileen Lourdes Lizada and Ryan Alvin Acosta, introduced the microlearning courses, a key addition to the CSC-LMS, which offers civil servants flexible, concise training accessible anytime and anywhere. This initiative supports continuous professional development for government employees.
The CSC also launched the Civil Service Digital Exam (CSDEx), a digital mode of taking the civil service examinations that will complement the Pen-and-Paper Test mode, and shall eventually replace the existing Computerized Examination (COMEX). Developed in partnership with the University of the Philippines Open University, CSDEx is a cloud-based high-stake examination platform, which strictly adheres to the Philippine Government’s Cloud First Policy of the Department of Information and Communications Technology.

The Civil Service Commission (CSC) is calling on changemakers to join the biggest gathering of leaders and human resource (HR) practitioners on 24 and 25 September 2024.
CSC Chairperson Karlo Nograles said the 2024 Leaders & HR Symposium (LHRS), which will be held both virtually and onsite at the Philippine International Convention Center in Pasay City, will provide opportunity for professional growth and networking for participants from both public and private sectors.
“The 2024 LHRS is tailored for HR professionals, organizational leaders, and anyone passionate about driving positive change in their institutions. Whether attending virtually or in person, this training is a great investment as participants will learn insights and strategies to elevate their organizations and advance their careers,” added Chairperson Nograles.

The Contact Center ng Bayan (CCB) of the Civil Service Commission (CSC) is set to award 10 government agencies with excellent frontline service in the virtual CCB Partner Recognition Program on 27 September 2024.
As part of the celebration of the 124th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary, during its fourth week or the Linggo ng Paglilinang ng Yamang Tao, the CCB will honor its Bilis Aksyon Partners that attained the highest resolution and compliance rates for customer feedback and complaints in fiscal year 2023.
“On its third year of conduct, the CSC will again put the spotlight on the Top 10 Bilis Aksyon Partners that collaborated with the CCB to swiftly resolve customer feedback and complaints lodged through the government’s feedback facility. We want to show how the CCB empowers government agencies to continuously assess, improve, and streamline their systems and processes to ensure quality customer experience,” said CSC Chairperson Karlo Nograles.

Twenty-eight exemplary individuals and groups received recognition from President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. for their contribution to public service during the Awards Rites for the 2024 Outstanding Government Workers on 18 September 2024 in Malacañang.
President Marcos Jr. conferred the recognition to the recipients of the Presidential Lingkod Bayan Award, Outstanding Public Officials and Employees (Dangal ng Bayan) Award, and Civil Service Commission (CSC) Pagasa Award.
Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin, CSC Chairperson Karlo Nograles, along with CSC Commissioners Aileen Lourdes Lizada and Ryan Alvin Acosta, accompanied the President in the conferment of the awards.
President Marcos praised this year’s awardees for their exceptional service, principles, and hard work that inspired everyone who strive to make a difference in society, stating, “You serve as the pillars upon which our government can draw its confidence and to build its momentum in achieving a Bagong Pilipinas.
