The Civil Service Commission (CSC) will hold the Government Online Career Fair (GOCF) on 14-18 September 2020. This event is held in partnership with JobStreet.com and as part of the 120th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary.

To join, job seekers are required to go to https://onlinejobfair.jobstreet.com.ph and type in their email address, then fill out the CSC Form No. 100 or the Personal Data Sheet (PDS) from there. The PDS will be automatically attached to the account once created.

Once registered, applicants will be able to view the job postings starting 14 September.

Applicants will be assessed based on their education, experience, training, and eligibility according to the requirements of the position being applied to.

The membership of the Civil Service Commission (CSC) to the PhilHealth Board was by virtue of Section 12 of R.A. 10606 or the “National Health Insurance Act of 2013” which amended Section 18 of RA 7876 to include among others the Chairperson of the CSC or a permanent representative thereof as one of the seventeen (17) Directors of the PhilHealth Board. Several former Commissioners and other CSC Officials have represented CSC in various meetings and not only the incumbent Chairperson. With the passage of R.A. 11223 or the “Universal Healthcare Act” in 2019, the PhilHealth Board of Directors was reconstituted to have a maximum of thirteen (13) members, without CSC representation.

As the nation celebrates the Association of Southeast Asian Nations or ASEAN Month this August, the Civil Service Commission (CSC) called for stronger regional cooperation as ASEAN Member States continue to cope with the challenges brought by the COVID-19 pandemic.

In view of the pronouncement of the President on 17 August 2020 classifying the National Capital Region and the provinces of Laguna, Cavite, Rizal, and Bulacan under a General Community Quarantine until 31 August 2020, please be advised that work in the CSC Central Office and the respective Regional and Field Offices in the said areas shall resume effective 19 August 2020, except for days declared as regular or special non-working holidays.

Following its closure due to the observance of precautionary measures and government health and quarantine protocols, the CSC Central Office (CO) will resume its operations effective 3 August 2020. 

In this regard, CSC clients who intend to visit the Central Office for certain services and transactions are advised to make appointments through the CSC’s Online Registration, Appointment, and Scheduling System (ORAS).
