WEEK 3: Linggo ng Malasakit
(17-22 September)
Highlights of the week include activities for clients and the community, as well as activities promoting advocacies.
1. Plant-Run 2023
17 September 2023
All registered runners will engage in a trail run which will end by planting a seedling at the designated site. Not only will this activity rehabilitate forests in the different parts of the country by planting trees, but also the proceeds will go to the next of kin of those who died in the line of duty under the Pamanang Lingkod Bayani (PLBi) program. Below are the venues per region:

2. Government Online Career Fair (GOCF)
18-22 September
In partnership with JobStreet.com, CSC will once again be hosting the yearly job fair for the public. The GOCF is a venue for government agencies to present their vacancies, and for jobseekers to scout for available positions and send in their applications. Government agencies and jobseekers from any region in the country may participate.

3. Bloodletting Activity
19-21 September 2023
To highlight malasakit, the CSC will conduct a nationwide bloodletting activity titled “Dugtong Buhay, Handog ng Lingkod Bayan” in partnership with the Philippine Blood Center and SM Supermalls. This bloodletting campaign is an effort to help people who are badly in need of blood transfusions as well as to further promote awareness on the importance of regular blood donations. All government workers nationwide are encouraged to donate blood to increase reserves.
The activity will be held for three days in the National Capital Region (NCR), while CSC Regional Offices (CSC ROs) will determine the specific day within the 3rd week of September from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

20 September 2023 - Philippine Blood Center, 6512 Quezon Ave., Diliman, Quezon City
21 September 2023 - SM Mall of Asia (Music Hall), Seaside Boulevard, Pasay City
