The Kwentong Lingkod Bayani serves as an avenue of insightful sharing of individual and organization experiences and best practices in demonstrating the public service values – Patriotism, Integrity, Excellence, and Spirituality (PIES). This workshop aims to enable participants in strengthening and harnessing the core values of a Public Servant: Patriotism, Integrity, Excellence and Spirituality (PIES) especially in this time of pandemic for the enhancement of their organization’s capability in pursuing strategic leadership and management.

HRM Professional Development Program

Performance Management for PRIME-HRM Level 2
1, 5, 8, 19, 22, 26, and 29 April 2022

Participants shall be able to walk through the Performance Management (PM) cycle vis-à-vis the PRIME-HRM Level 2 requirements and shall be guided in the development of a customized PM system. Participants shall also be equipped with the competency of administering the PM Process.

Target participants: Human Resource Management Practitioners (HRMP) or those with equivalent positions (preferably assigned in Performance Management) vying for PRIME-HRM Level 2 in the core HR area of Performance Management from the NGAs, GOCCs and SUCs.

Rewards and Recognition for PRIME-HRM Level 2
5, 7, 12, 18, and 21 April 2022

This course shall enable HR Leaders and Practitioners of public sector agencies to create or review their Rewards and Recognition (R&R) Policy and Processes and identify areas for development or customization for it to be more responsive to agency’s specific needs. Participants shall be able to walk through the R&R pillar elements and indicators and shall be guided in the development of a process-defined R&R system. Participants shall also be equipped with the competency of administering the R&R process.

Target participants: Human Resource Management Practitioners (HRMPs) or those with equivalent positions assigned in Rewards and Recognition and/or members of the R&R Committee from agencies vying for PRIME-HRM Level 2 in the core HR area of Rewards and Recognition. Agencies are encouraged to send both their Central and Regional Office HRMPs to help facilitate whole-of- agency approach in learning application.

Designing and Developing Microlearning

Microlearning is a learning strategy that delivers information to learners in small chunks using a method built on the principles of adult learning theories and psychology, while also employing current and new technologies. It aims to provide learning that is relevant, concise, and accessible in multiple devices and platform. This course teaches participants to design and develop microlearning content as part of their blended learning programs (face to face and virtual training).

The Online Learning: Facilitating Learning through Technology webinar series goes beyond introducing the technology to offer practitioners proven techniques tailored specifically to engage live online audiences. From decoding the necessary competencies in delivering an online workshop to acquiring the tools and technology available to maximise learning and engagement, this module is specially crafted to help training practitioners smoothly transition from face-to-face training facilitation to a virtual one.

Competency-Based HR

This course shall introduce the participants to the principles, processes and practices of effectively developing Competency-based Human Resource Management System (CBHRMS) as a strategy towards integrating the HR functions of Recruitment, Selection and Placement, Learning and Development, Performance Management, Rewards and Recognition, and Human Resource Planning as required in the Maturity Level 3 of the Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME HRM).

Leadership Development Program

Formulating Values Policy Guidelines
6, 13, 20, and 27 April 2022

This workshop emphasizes the relevance and significance of formulating/crafting the Policy Guidelines that will strengthen the Agency’s Core Values.

The workshop shall use synchronous and asynchronous sessions to develop participants’ appreciation, acceptance and application of relevant principles, concepts and strategies to help them implement the guidelines efficiently and effectively. The guidelines are expected to sustain consistent manifestations of desired values through planned events, activities, and practices.

Thus, public sector leaders need to undergo metamorphosis in order to not just keep but actually get ahead of the curve using digital technology. They must become digitally literate, develop an adaptable mindset, and embrace new tools in order to conquer digital challenges in the public sector landscape. Gender, Diversity, and Social Inclusion

This Course is designed to raise the civil servants’ awareness on the various dimensions of diversity in the Philippines. It seeks to equip the participants with sensitivity to the impact of diversity, usually exclusion of particular groups especially with respect to gender and provide tools for handling diversity and fostering a culture of inclusion in their respective workplaces. A major strategy for inclusion is mainstreaming the socially excluded groups. Illustrative of this approach is gender mainstreaming which seeks to promote gender equality.
